Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed visual inspections and checks in accordance with documented procedures.
* Examine completed and in-process work to identify defects, discrepancies, or areas requiring attention.
* Use a range of inspection and measurement equipment accurately and safely.
* Record inspection results clearly and maintain accurate quality documentation.
* Identify and report non-conformances in a timely manner.
* Work closely with colleagues to resolve quality issues and prevent repeat occurrences.
* Ensure inspection activities are completed within required timescales.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
* Follow all company procedures relating to quality, health and safety, and operational standards.
* Support continuous improvement activities and contribute ideas for improving quality and efficiency.
Requirements
* Proven experience in quality assurance or inspection roles within manufacturing production environments.
* Strong analysis skills with the ability to identify deviations from quality standards quickly and accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to product safety and quality assurance.
Shift Times
* 6am - 2pm Days
* 2pm - 10pm Nights
Salary description
£13.40 - £14.00 per hour
