Kitchen Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Fitter to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry. This role is paying £22 per hour.

This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality kitchen fitting, repairs and property maintenance projects.
The role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of kitchen fitting, installation, repair and finishing works to maintain and improve domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out full and partial kitchen installations within social housing properties
Remove and replace kitchen units, worktops, doors, drawers and associated fittings
Install kitchen cabinets and units accurately and to a high standard
Fit worktops, plinths, end panels, upstands and other kitchen components
Carry out adjustments and repairs to existing kitchen units and fittings
Undertake minor carpentry and joinery works associated with kitchen installations
Complete kitchen repairs following general maintenance works
Prepare areas for installation and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Work within occupied and void domestic properties while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works
Complete work in line with health and safety regulations and company standardsRequirements:

To have your own tools
Previous experience working as a Kitchen Fitter
Experience fitting kitchens within domestic properties
Experience installing kitchen units, worktops and associated components
Ability to carry out kitchen repairs and adjustments
Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits:
