This is an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager looking for their next challenge. We are also keen to hear from an exceptional Deputy Manager with a strong track record within an Ofsted-registered children’s residential EBD setting who is ready to take the next step into their first Registered Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
* Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the home.
* Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds Ofsted requirements and complies with the Children’s Homes Regulations.
* Provide high-quality care that promotes positive outcomes, development and wellbeing for children and young people.
* Lead, motivate, develop, and inspire a dedicated residential care team.
* Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, care quality, compliance, and practice.
* Foster a positive, nurturing and child-centred environment within the home.
* Drive continuous improvement across the service and ensure strong outcomes for the young people in your care.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager, or significant experience as a Deputy Manager with the capability and readiness to step into a Registered Manager position.
* Proven experience working within an Ofsted-registered Children’s Residential EBD Home.
* Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding, quality standards and effective residential childcare practice.
* Experience solely within Supported Living or Independent Supported Accommodation will not be considered for this position.
* Must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
