We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Doncaster.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ambitious ECT, to become part of a supportive school community. The successful candidate will initially provide lesson cover across both Year 5 and Year 6, building positive relationships with pupils and staff while gaining a strong understanding of the school and its expectations.

The role will then progress to taking full-time responsibility for a Year 5 class as the Year 5 Teacher.

The Role

Teach and deliver engaging lessons across Year 5 and Year 6 initially.
Provide high-quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of all pupils.
Establish positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attainment and progress.
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the school's curriculum.
Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class as the role progresses.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is:

Qualified to teach in the UK with QTS (or equivalent).
Experienced in, or passionate about, teaching across KS2.
Confident teaching both Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
An engaging and creative classroom practitioner.
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Committed to raising achievement and supporting every child to reach their potential.
Adaptable, enthusiastic and ready to become an integral member of the school team.
