How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Assistant Site Manager - Planned
    £35,000 to £45,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
    Essex
    Permanent – Full Time
    40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch
    We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager - Planned to join us!
    About the Role
    In accordance with our best practice and governance standards, you'll support the effective delivery of retrofit solutions in line with each client's commitments to external funders, as well as energy projects including wall and loft insulation, window and door replacements, ventilation and draughtproofing, low/no-carbon heating, lighting and energy installations.
    Working within our Decarbonisation team, you will support the delivery of Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and other funded retrofit programmes, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality, compliance and funding requirements.
    You will support the Site Manager to ensure all client enquiries, issues and requests are actioned and resolved within appropriate timescales, while assisting in the effective management of engineers and subcontractors, providing support on technical issues and performance management.
    About You
    Candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, with an understanding of profit and loss accounting, budget management and retrofit/sustainability work programmes. You'll have knowledge and experience of delivering retrofit, sustainability and planned maintenance projects, alongside strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
    Experience of working on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects or other funded retrofit programmes would be highly desirable, as would an understanding of PAS 2030/2035 requirements and energy efficiency measures within occupied social housing properties.
