How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Delivery Administrator

    Location: Maidenhead

    Salary: Competitive

    Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

    Equity Networks is a forward thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in IT, communications and connectivity solutions for businesses across the UK. Our Projects Team plays a key role in delivering customer solutions, coordinating engineers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, customers are kept informed, and services are successfully brought into operation.

    We are looking for an organised and approachable Project Delivery Administrator to join the team. This is an entry-level role, so previous experience in IT, telecommunications or project coordination is not essential. We will provide structured training across our services, systems and ways of working.

    The successful candidate will support the delivery of live customer orders and projects, helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

    This role is primarily office-based. Depending on location and business requirements, the successful candidate will be based at either our Maidenhead or Hemel Hempstead office.

    What you will be doing

    Co-ordinating customer orders

    Process new orders and help move them through to completion. 
    Place and manage telephony, connectivity, mobile and SIM orders. 
    Process service cancellations accurately and on time. 
    Maintain clear, accurate customer and order information in our
    CRM system. 
    Keep colleagues informed about progress, delays, risks and anything that needs escalating.
    Ensure completed orders are invoiced in a timely manner.
    Working with engineers and suppliers

    Schedule engineering visits and confirm appointments with customers. 
    Work with suppliers to help ensure services are delivered correctly and on time. 
    Arrange third-party services, including cabling installations. 
    Customer care

    Provide our customers with clear and helpful updates via Telephone and E-Mail
    Act as a consistent point of contact throughout an order or project
    Follow up with colleagues and suppliers when items are outstanding
