Plumbers

Lynx Employment Services are recruiting 2 experienced Plumbers to work within local authority domestic properties across the Barnsley area.

The successful candidates will work as part of a Plumber/Joiner team, carrying out plumbing works within occupied and vacant domestic properties.

Duties will include:

General domestic plumbing, maintenance and repairs

Installation and replacement of baths, showers, wash basins, WCs and associated sanitary ware

Working alongside Joiners and other trades

Plumbing works associated with property adaptations

Providing a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenants' homes

The full specification requires candidates to have regular domestic plumbing experience and experience with different hot-water systems, showers and sanitary ware.
Essential requirements:

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent
Relevant domestic plumbing experience
Full UK driving licence
Current CSCS card
Good understanding of plumbing-related Health & Safety
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:

Previous experience working on property adaptations
Local authority/social housing experience
Multi-skilled experience
Pay: £16.15 per hour

A work van is provided and will be shared between the two operatives for work purposes.
Candidates must be comfortable working within domestic properties and providing a professional service to residents.
