Teaching Assistant job role:
* Provide patient, caring and calm support to children with special educational needs and additional learning requirements.
* Support pupils with their learning and development, adapting activities and approaches to meet their individual needs.
* Assist children who may experience behavioural, emotional or social difficulties, using positive and consistent behaviour-support strategies.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, helping them to feel safe, confident and included within the school environment.
* Encourage children to develop their independence, confidence and social skills through appropriate support and encouragement.
* Work closely with teachers and other members of the support team to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
* Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding pupils’ progress, wellbeing and individual needs.
* Promote an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their potential.

£90 - £110 per day
