How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An AMAZING specialist school are looking for a Youth Worker to join them on a full time basis, to start ASAP.

    About the School

    A specialist school supporting children and young people aged 4-16 years.
    Their pupils have a range of additional and co-existing needs, including:
    Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
    Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    Behavioural and emotional needs
    Vulnerability and complex individual circumstances
    We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our dedicated team.As a Youth Worker, you will:

    Support children and young people with their emotional, social and behavioural development.
    Help pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.
    Provide individual and group support based on each young person's needs.
    Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop appropriate coping strategies.
    Support pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation or challenging behaviour.
    Take part in activities that promote communication, social skills, confidence and wellbeing.
    Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupils' wider development.We Are Looking For Someone Who:

    Is patient, calm and understanding.
    Has excellent communication and listening skills.
    Can remain calm and professional when faced with challenging situations.
