Senior Quantity Surveyor

I am currently recruiting for a well-established consultancy with a strong presence across the infrastructure sector, working on major projects spanning highways, aviation, water, defence and power. They're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow team and take a lead role on some genuinely varied, high-value schemes.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a heavy infrastructure background who wants to broaden their exposure across multiple sub-sectors, rather than being tied to one type of project.

The Role

Managing cost and commercial matters across infrastructure projects from highways, aviation, water, defence and power sectors

Preparing and agreeing final accounts, valuations and cost reports

Managing NEC/ICE contract administration and change control

Building strong client relationships and supporting junior team members

Working closely with project managers and engineers to keep projects commercially sound from inception to completion

About You

MRICS (or working towards) or equivalent professional qualification

Solid experience gained within infrastructure or heavy civils, or a PQS background with relevant sector exposure

Confident managing NEC contracts

Strong communicator, comfortable liaising directly with clients and contractors

Based in or able to commute to Glasgow
