How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Join our dynamic team as a TIG Welder and bring precision, craftsmanship, and innovation to our fabrication projects! In this role, you will be responsible for expertly welding metal components using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to create high-quality, durable structures. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and mechanical skills will contribute to building reliable products that meet strict safety and quality standards.     Duties

    * Perform TIG welding on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components, ensuring clean, accurate welds that meet project specifications

    * Utilize stick welding techniques when required to handle different materials or repair tasks

    * Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication and assembly processes

    * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide precise welding and assembly work

    * Assist in fabricating metal parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using appropriate tools and techniques

    * Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards and specifications

    * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

    Experience

    * Proven experience in TIG welding with a strong understanding of welding principles and techniques

    * Familiarity with stick welding as a supplementary skill for diverse fabrication needs

    * Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication setting

    * Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, assembly processes, and metal finishing techniques

    * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances

    * Prior experience working with various metals such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel is preferred

    * Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
