Responsibilities
* Operate various press machines to shape and form sheet metal components according to specifications.
* Use hand tools and tooling to cut, grind, weld, and assemble metal parts with accuracy.
* Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related manufacturing roles.
* Mechanical knowledge of sheet metal processes and hand tools used in fabrication.
* Ability to operate press and punch machines safely and efficiently.
* Familiarity with tooling, assembly techniques, and basic math for measurements.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
* Knowledge of safety procedures related to metalworking equipment.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Salary description
£19.46 - £21.90 per hour
