How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Reporting directly to the Lead SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and developing all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across our operations. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, build positive relationships with operational teams, and drive continuous improvement while supporting the company's growth ambitions.

    • Create, review and assess Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
    • Conduct regular site audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
    • Support operational teams to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained.
    • Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
    • Deliver SHEQ guidance, support and coaching to employees, subcontractors and management teams.
    • Lead and support the development of SHEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
    • Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and client requirements.
    • Support the management and continuous improvement of ISO management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
    • Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions and SHEQ briefings as required.
    • Support tender submissions, PQQs and client SHEQ requirements.
    • Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance.
    • Produce SHEQ reports, statistics and improvement plans for senior management.
    • Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the SHEQ function within the business.
    About You
We are looking for an individual who combines technical SHEQ expertise with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine passion for driving high standards.
    Essential Requirements
    • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
    • GradIOSH
    • CSCS card or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience within a SHEQ or Health & Safety role.
    • Proven experience creating, reviewing and assessing RAMS.
    • Experience conducting site audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
    • Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to influence and engage operational teams at all levels.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to take ownership while remaining receptive to guidance and direction from senior management.
