How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels and electrical enclosures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong electrical background and mechanical knowledge to contribute to high-quality production processes.     Duties

    * Assemble electrical panels using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology.

    * Wire components according to technical diagrams and schematics, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

    * Install electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks.

    * Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to ensure proper operation.

    * Follow safety procedures during all stages of assembly and wiring work.

    * Maintain organised workstations and document work completed accurately.

    * Assist in the interpretation of electrical diagrams and technical drawings.

    * Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company policies.

    Experience

    * Proven experience in electrical assembly or panel wiring is preferred.

    * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology is essential.

    * Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their wiring is highly desirable.

    * Previous experience working with electrical components, circuit diagrams, and schematics.

    * Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes is advantageous.

    * Experience with electrical or mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset.
