This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring finished goods are accurately picked, loaded and despatched on time.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting the warehouse team daily.
* Planning and organising warehouse workloads.
* Maintaining high standards of picking accuracy and stock control.
* Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and despatched on time.
* Monitoring warehouse KPIs and driving performance improvements.
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping and 5S standards.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements.
* Using and maintaining accurate WMS data.
* Training, coaching and developing warehouse employees.
* Supporting the introduction of new warehouse processes and technology.
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
* Resolving stock issues, picking errors and non-conformances quickly.
* Promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
* Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Strong understanding of stock control, picking and despatch processes.
* Experience with 5S and continuous improvement.
* Strong communication and team leadership skills.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* A hands-on, organised and proactive approach.
* The ability to lead by example and drive improvements.
IOSH Managing Safely and relevant warehouse/supervisory qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
