Are you an experienced Quality Systems professional with strong IATF 16949 expertise and certified Internal Auditor training?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established manufacturing business where you'll take ownership of the Quality Management System, lead internal and external audits, and play a key role in maintaining compliance across Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety standards.
This position would suit a Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Manager or Lead Auditor with extensive experience within an IATF 16949 manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing and developing the company's IATF 16949 Quality Management System
* Leading the internal audit programme across the business
* Conducting system, process and compliance audits
* Coordinating customer, certification and surveillance audits
* Driving corrective and preventive actions following audit findings
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams
* Delivering Quality Systems training and mentoring to employees
* Maintaining compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
* Producing audit reports, KPI data and management information
* Supporting wider Quality, Environmental and H&S activities
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience within an IATF 16949 certified manufacturing environment
* Qualified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor (minimum requirement)
* Extensive Quality Management Systems experience
* Strong internal auditing experience
* Experience managing external, customer and certification audits
* Knowledge of non-conformance investigation and corrective action processes
* Strong documentation, reporting and compliance management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
