How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Overview

    Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/FLT Driver to join their dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, handling, and management of materials within their warehouse environment. The successful candidate will operate forklifts and other equipment safely and effectively, support shipping and receiving operations, and assist with warehouse management tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized supply chain while developing valuable mechanical and operational skills.

    Monday To Friday 8am To 5pm

    Responsibilities

    * Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility

    * Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy

    * Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using warehouse management systems

    * Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency

    * Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper storage, stacking, and organization within the warehouse

    * Support stock replenishment efforts by organizing storage areas and preparing items for dispatch

    * Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to health and safety protocols during all operations

    * Assist with inventory counts, audits, and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy

    * Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse productivity

    Skills

    * Proven experience operating forklifts (certification preferred) in a warehouse setting

    * Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements

    * Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting

    * Strong understanding of materials handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency

    * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on a regular basis

    * Good basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments

    * Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation requirements

    * Prior warehouse experience demonstrating reliability, organization, and attention to detail

    * A VALID IN DATE COUNTER BALANCE LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL
