Ceto Talent are supporting a major London-based organisation in recruiting for an Electrical Fitter to join a busy rolling stock upgrade programme.
This opportunity is ideal for you if you have experience carrying out electrical fitting, assembly, modification and installation work within rail, rolling stock, aviation, automotive, military or other heavy engineering environments. You will support the upgrade and modification of vehicles, working from engineering drawings and detailed work instructions to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Your experience
* Level 3 electrical qualification, completed apprenticeship or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Experience working as an Electrical Fitter, Electrical Technician or in a similar engineering role.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions.
* Experience using hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment.
* Strong electrical installation, assembly and modification experience.
* Experience working within a safety-critical or highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
Your responsibilities
* Carry out electrical modification and upgrade work on rolling stock vehicles.
* Install new cabling, electrical equipment, converter units and associated components.
* Remove and replace existing wiring and electrical systems.
* Complete work in line with engineering drawings and approved work instructions.
* Undertake testing, inspection and basic fault-finding activities.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.

* Hours: 35 per week
