People Coordinator

Full time People Coordinator role based in Coventry. This role is fully office based.

Client Details

My client is an international education provider based in Coventry who are looking for a People Coordinator.

Description

Manage recruitment and pre-employment checks, including contracts, references, DBS, right-to-work and qualifications.
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new starters, ensuring documentation, HRIS records and inductions are completed.
Maintain accurate employee records and process changes such as promotions, salary adjustments, contractual amendments and leavers.
Support monthly payroll, pensions and benefits by coordinating employee changes and resolving payroll queries.
Administer probation and employee lifecycle processes, including absence, family leave, flexible working and offboarding.
Ensure GDPR, safeguarding and employment compliance, while contributing to process improvements and wider People & Culture projects.

Profile

Previous experience in HR, People Operations or HR Administration.
Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, payroll and records.
Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
Able to handle confidential employee information professionally and accurately.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and Microsoft Office/HR systems skills.
Desirable: UK employment law knowledge, education/multi-site experience, payroll experience and CIPD Level 3.
Can commute to Coventry.
