The role
As the KS1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Create a warm, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Support pupils with different abilities and learning needs
Assess progress and provide helpful, age-appropriate feedback
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider school staff
Build positive relationships with pupils and their families
Follow the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and teaching policies
Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and curiosity
The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
A good understanding of phonics and early learning development
Excellent classroom and behaviour-management skills
A patient, caring and adaptable approach
A genuine passion for helping young children succeed
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

£170.00 - £220.00 per day
