The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will manage projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. This Project Manager / Senior Project Manager role would suit an experienced Project Manager looking for their next step or an established Senior Project Manager seeking greater responsibility. The successful Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to lead their own commissions while contributing to larger and more complex projects.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager's role
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will lead projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction, handover, and close-out.
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, procurement, contract administration, risk management, change control, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will chair meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, monitor contractor performance, and maintain strong client relationships. At Senior Project Manager level, there will also be opportunities to mentor junior colleagues, manage key client accounts, and contribute to the continued growth of the Glasgow team.
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
The successful Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
Proven experience delivering construction and property projects
Experience managing projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, organisation, and commercial awareness
