How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Engineering Project Manager

    £60,000 - £65,000

    Lincolnshire

    Mon - Fri Days

    Permanent

    Some Project Managers manage spreadsheets.

    Others actually deliver projects.

    This is the second type.

I'm recruiting for a Engineering Project Manager to join a busy food manufacturing site, taking ownership of capital projects from initial specification through to installation, commissioning and handover.

You'll manage budgets, contractors, suppliers and timelines - making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and with zero harm.

    The role

Deliver the site's capital investment programme.

Manage projects from specification and tender through to commissioning.

Control contractors, suppliers, budgets and project timelines.

Produce specifications, layouts and project justifications.

Drive engineering improvements, efficiency and innovation.

Ensure projects meet CDM, planning, safety and other regulatory requirements.

Work closely with Engineering, Production, Technical, HSE, Hygiene and NPD teams.

Support the wider engineering team with non-capital projects.

    What you'll need

Level 5 engineering qualification or equivalent.

Strong project management experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Experience managing contractors, suppliers and project budgets.

    AutoCAD and CDM experience.

Good understanding of food manufacturing engineering and factory services.

    Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    A practical, hands-on approach.

    Full UK driving licence.

FMCG experience is a must for this one.

If you're an engineer who likes seeing projects actually get built - rather than just talking about them - this could be a good one
