How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role and school

    Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher (KS1) looking for a new opportunity in Southall, Ealing? Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (KS1) to join their team from the October half-term. This full-time role will involve taking full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher (KS1) to make a positive impact on pupils' learning, development and progress.

    The school is a well-established primary school serving a diverse local community in Southall, Ealing.     This Primary Teacher (KS1) position would suit an ambitious and nurturing teacher who has a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and is confident in delivering engaging, purposeful lessons. The successful Primary Teacher (KS1) will be able to establish positive relationships quickly, maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, and work collaboratively with colleagues and families. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher (KS1) looking to join a supportive school and play an important role in pupils' early education.

    Job Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
    Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil progress.
    Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment information to inform future planning and targeted support.
    Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
    Work collaboratively with the wider school team to contribute to curriculum development, school improvement and enrichment opportunities.
    Maintain accurate records and ensure all safeguarding, assessment and professional responsibilities are completed to a high standard.Qualifications/Experience

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
    Experience as a Primary Teacher (KS1) or in a similar role
    Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
    Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
