The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available
Inspire students to develop a curiosity about the past and its influence on the modern world
Encourage critical thinking, evaluation of sources, and independent learning
Support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school and History departmentThe Successful Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards QTS
Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
Excellent classroom management skills
