The role. As Home Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading, developing and retaining a capable and caring staff team.
Maintaining high standards of person-centred residential and dementia care.
Ensuring the home remains compliant with CQC requirements, safeguarding responsibilities and relevant legislation.
Managing care planning, medication processes, risk assessments, audits and quality assurance.
Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs, local authorities and other healthcare professionals.
Managing recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management.
Monitoring occupancy, enquiries, staffing levels, agency use and budgets.
Responding appropriately to complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
Creating a positive and accountable culture focused on delivering good care.
Ensuring the home is inspection ready at all times.About you. You will be an experienced Registered Manager, Home Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up, with a background in elderly residential or dementia care.
You will need:
Previous leadership experience within a residential care home.
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
Experience managing and developing care teams.
Confidence with care planning, medication management, audits and compliance.
Good commercial awareness, including occupancy, staffing and budget management.
A practical, organised and approachable management style.
A genuine commitment to maintaining high standards of care for older people.What is on offer.
Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
