How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Programme Lead

    • Location: Remote with some travel to Scotland
    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Salary: Daily Rate Paying Outside IR35

We are seeking a Programme Lead to take our programme from Discovery and high-level definition into a controlled, requirements-led and implementation-ready transformation. This role is crucial for maintaining momentum while preventing avoidable rework and is ideal for someone who has led complex transformations and is adept at navigating stakeholder environments.

    Day-to-day of the role:

    • Establish and operate the programme governance model, including decision routes, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), reporting, change control, and escalation processes.
    • Create an integrated roadmap and mobilisation plan through detailed requirements, design, readiness, and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) delivery.
    • Lead cross-workstream coordination across business analysis, technical assurance, data, change, commercial, and client stakeholders.
    • Drive requirements maturity to ensure the backlog is sufficiently defined, prioritised, traceable, and testable before build commitments are made.
    • Provide concise executive reporting and maintain a single credible delivery narrative.
    • Maintain scope discipline to distinguish confirmed decisions from assumptions and open questions.
    • Build a practical route from MVP to later CRM capability without overcommitting to later stages prematurely.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven experience leading a complex transformation from Discovery/strategy into mobilisation and delivery.
    • Strong capability in establishing programme governance and controls where structure was previously incomplete or needed resetting.
    • Experience in requirements mobilisation alongside business analysts, architects, and subject matter experts.
    • Background in a public sector, regulated, or comparably complex stakeholder environment.
    • Skilled in managing senior client stakeholders and translating ambiguity into practical decisions and plans.
    • Planned and governed incremental or product-style delivery with clear readiness gates.
    • Experience of CRM-enabled business transformation; Dynamics 365 exposure is desirable but not essential.

    Candidate characteristics:

    • Credible executive presence without being overly corporate or process-heavy.
    • Calm, structured, and decisive in ambiguity.
    • Politically aware and able to build trust across business and technical groups.
    • Pragmatic, transparent, and comfortable challenging premature commitments.
    • Strong written communicator who can create a concise, evidence-based programme narrative.
    • Collaborative leader who integrates specialists rather than duplicating their expertise.

To apply for the Programme Lead position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
