Responsibilities
Managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients
Preparing and reviewing self assessment tax returns
Supporting clients with a range of tax planning matters, IHT, CGT, trusts, Estates etc.
Providing personal tax compliance and advisory services
Building strong and lasting relationships with clients
Liaising with HMRC and responding to tax enquiries
Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and support
Assisting with the development of more junior members of the team where appropriate
Requirements
Previous personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice
ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, studying towards a relevant qualification, or qualified through experience
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
Excellent communication and client management skills
An interest in developing further advisory experience
Candidates seeking either a personal tax or mixed tax position will be considered
