We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a dynamic team, providing comprehensive HR support across a complex, commercial, and multi-divisional organisation. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with broad knowledge and experience in HR practices, including Employee Relations, performance management, and organisational change.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide end-to-end support and coaching on Employee Relations matters to line managers
- Support investigations into disciplinary, grievance, and other workplace matters, including evidence gathering and documentation preparation.
- Offer practical HR advice on a wide range of matters such as absence management, performance issues, and exit processes.
- Coordinate Occupational Health referrals, guide managers on employee wellbeing, and manage return-to-work plans.
- Ensure the correct application of contractual terms and conditions and advise on employment legislation and company policies.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
- Deliver induction programmes for new starters and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support the People team.
- Assist with organisational change projects, including consultation and redundancy processes, and coordinate TUPE transfers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as an HR/ER Advisor within a complex, commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, with the ability to apply these in a commercial setting.
- Experience with HR systems and producing accurate HR reports.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility for UK-wide travel, including occasional overnight stays.
