We're looking for an experienced Edgebander Operator to join a busy manufacturing business in the Letchworth area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong machine-operating skills to produce high-quality finished products.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll ensure components are accurately edged, finished to a high standard, and ready for assembly.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating and setting up edgebanding machinery
Adjusting machine settings for different materials and specifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
Carrying out quality checks and ensuring precise measurements
Loading, unloading and handling materials safely
Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Supporting assembly and production activities when required
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating edgebanding machinery
Strong fabrication or woodworking background
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
