How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    User Researcher

    Role Overview

    We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to work within multidisciplinary Agile teams, helping to understand user needs and improve digital products and services.

    You will conduct research, generate actionable insights and work closely with Product, Design, Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure decisions are informed by robust user evidence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, contextual research, usability testing and surveys.
    Recruit appropriate and representative research participants.
    Analyse research findings and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
    Test prototypes, user journeys, content and live services to identify usability issues and improvement opportunities.
    Embed user research throughout discovery, development and continuous improvement.
    Collaborate with Product Managers, Service Designers, Content Designers, Developers and Business Analysts.
    Present research findings and recommendations to technical and senior stakeholders.
    Ensure research considers accessibility, inclusion and the needs of diverse and vulnerable users.
    Develop research plans, discussion guides and usability-testing scenarios.
    Maintain clear research documentation and contribute to a shared evidence base.

    What We're Looking For

    Proven experience as a User Researcher, UX Researcher or User Experience Researcher.
    Strong experience in qualitative research, particularly interviews and usability testing.
    Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
    Ability to turn research findings into actionable product and service improvements.
    Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
    Experience researching complex digital products or services.
    Understanding of accessibility, inclusive design and diverse user needs.
    Experience in public sector, financial services, regulated or similarly complex environments is desirable.
