How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced Data Insights & Performance Lead to support Asset, Risk and Governance activities within an Engineering function.

    The role will be responsible for developing and improving data, reporting and performance management, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent and provides clear insight to support effective decision-making.

    Working closely with engineering, asset management, risk and governance stakeholders, you will develop performance measures, reporting and dashboards, analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve data quality and business processes.

    A key part of the role will be driving continuous improvement and transformation - challenging existing ways of working, simplifying reporting, removing duplication and helping to standardise processes and best practice across the function.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain performance reporting, metrics, dashboards and management information.
    Design and enhance Power BI dashboards to provide visibility of performance, workload, risk, progress and outcomes.
    Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate data into clear, actionable insight.
    Analyse trends, risks and opportunities across engineering, asset, operational and governance data.
    Improve data quality, data governance and reporting processes.
    Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve ways of working.
    Provide clear performance commentary, analysis and recommendations for leadership and governance forums.
    Support stakeholders in using data and insight to drive informed decisions and improve business performance.
    Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making, transparency and continuous improvement.About You

    Strong experience in data analysis, reporting and visualisation.
    Proficient in Power BI, Excel and Microsoft Office, with experience developing dashboards, reports and performance measures.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
    Able to turn complex data and information into clear, meaningful and actionable insight.
    Confident working with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Comfortable challenging existing processes and influencing improvements.
    Proactive, curious and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
    Experience within engineering, asset management, infrastructure, utilities or a regulated environment would be advantageous.Apply now!
