How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an analytical, data-driven Quality Engineer looking to make an impact across a full manufacturing lifecycle?

This automotive manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a dedicated quality professional to support internal teams, suppliers, and automotive OEM customers.

You will drive end-to-end quality standards for active production and NPI projects. Acting as a core bridge between clients and manufacturing, you will maintain compliance, optimise control plans, and lead structured problem-solving initiatives.

Salary circa £48-49,000 plus pension, generous holiday allowance, life assurance cover and healthcare services. Monday to Friday day shift, with early finish on Fridays.

    What You'll Be Doing:

Quality Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular audits ensuring adherence to ISO9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 standards.
New Project Introduction (NPI): Define quality control methods, gauging systems, control plans, and handle IMDS report submissions.
Root Cause Problem Solving: Facilitate cross-functional investigations for customer, supplier, and internal quality issues using 8D methodology.
Data & Statistical Analysis: Execute process capability and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) studies to guide fact-based decision-making.
Customer Interface: Manage OEM customer portals, monitor quality KPIs, and foster key external and internal relationships.

    What We Are Looking For:

Practical experience within an automotive or high-spec manufacturing quality environment.
Proven expertise in 8D problem solving, MSA, SPC, and control plan management.
Strong familiarity with IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 frameworks and IMDS submissions.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Highly analytical approach with strong data interpretation skills.

Take ownership of site-wide quality standards and join a collaborative team powering advanced manufacturing. Apply today
