From intimate lectures and exhibitions to spectacular events welcoming thousands of members and guests, no two days in the Member Events team are the same!
The Evens Coordinator Role
Working closely with the Head of Member Events and a dedicated team, you'll help organise, coordinate and deliver a diverse range of events and leisure activities throughout the year.
You'll also work closely with Club committees and members, ensuring activities are professionally managed and every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
This is a permanent, full-time position working an average of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work will be required to support events.
Your Key Responsibilities
Supporting the planning and delivery of an exciting programme of member events and social activities
Coordinating activities for allocated member committees
Providing administrative and organisational support to the Member Events team
Supporting the Head of Member Events with meetings and Member Events sub-committees
Working closely with members, colleagues and stakeholders to ensure exceptional event experiences
Managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
The Events
The Member Events team delivers everything from regular bridge matches, lectures and the Annual Art Exhibition through to the Club's famous “Big Five” events: Summer Fiesta, Family Picnic, Hurlingham Sunday, Fête Champêtre, Guy Fawkes celebrations
These spectacular events can welcome up to 5,000 members and guests, making this an incredible opportunity for an events professional who enjoys variety and working on both intimate and large-scale occasions.

You'll bring:
Previous experience coordinating events and supporting a diverse events programme
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Exceptional attention to detail
Confidence communicating professionally and sensitively with a diverse range of people
