How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Senior Reporting Manager – Project Controls / PMO
Hybrid – London (2–3 days per week) with occasional travel to Suffolk
    £80,000–£95,000 + excellent benefits
    Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Reporting Manager to join the Civils team on one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.

This is a key role within a major national infrastructure project, where you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality programme reporting, providing clear and meaningful performance information to support senior leadership and programme-wide decision-making.

    The Role
As Senior Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving reporting excellence across a major Civils programme.

Working closely with Project Controls, Delivery, Commercial, Planning, Cost, Risk and Change teams, you will ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and delivered in a timely manner. You will also lead and develop reporting teams, champion data quality and help transform complex project information into clear, insightful management reporting.

This is a fast-paced and demanding environment, so we are looking for someone who is resilient, highly organised and comfortable working under pressure across a complex programme with multiple stakeholders and contractors.

    Key Responsibilities
•Lead the development, coordination and continuous improvement of programme reporting.
•Manage, develop and mentor reporting and Project Controls professionals.
•Produce executive-level reports, dashboards and performance packs for senior stakeholders.
•Work collaboratively across Planning, Cost, Risk, Change, Commercial and Delivery functions.
•Drive improvements in data quality, reporting standards, automation and visualisation.
•Analyse large volumes of complex project data and translate this into meaningful business insights.
•Support programme governance, strategic planning and senior-level decision-making.
•Manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
•Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve reporting and continuous improvement objectives.

    About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
•Proven experience leading and developing Reporting or Project Controls teams within complex programme environments.
•Significant experience delivering programme reporting across major infrastructure or capital projects.
•A strong understanding of Project Controls disciplines, including Planning, Cost, Risk and Change Management.
•Experience producing executive-level reports, dashboards and performance packs.
•Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, including data visualisation and reporting automation.
•The ability to interpret complex data and communicate key insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
•Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
•Experience working within integrated delivery environments alongside multiple contractors and stakeholders.
•Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
•Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
•The resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing and high-pressure environment.

    Package
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £80,000–£95,000, depending on experience, alongside an excellent benefits package including:
    •Up to 10% bonus
•28 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service
    •Excellent pension contribution
    •Private medical cover
    •£1,500 flexible benefits allowance
•Hybrid working from London, with occasional travel to Suffolk

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a high-profile leadership role and play a key part in the successful delivery of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
