The role
As an Adult Community Social Worker, you’ll work with adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs and complex social circumstances. You’ll manage a varied adult social care caseload, completing strengths-based Care Act assessments, reviews and support plans while promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes. Working closely with individuals, families and partner agencies, you’ll handle complex safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, Best Interest and, where needed, Court of Protection work, alongside coordinating care and supporting junior colleagues.
What you’ll need
A recognised Social Work qualification
Current Social Work England registration
At least three years’ post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care
