How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Haywards Heath, West Sussex | £40,000-£42,000 Base Salary + Strong Performance Bonus

    Reports to: Director / Managing Director
    Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
    Salary: £40,000-£42,000 per annum + attractive performance-related bonus

    We are looking for an ambitious, compassionate, and commercially minded Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Haywards Heath.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing a service. You will have the opportunity to shape the culture, develop the team, drive quality, build strong local relationships, and play a key role in growing the service.

    Alongside a competitive £40,000-£42,000 base salary, the role offers a strong performance-related bonus scheme. Our bonus structure is designed to genuinely reward success, with previous Registered Managers achieving five-figure annual bonuses.

    The Role

    As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective, compliant, and high-quality operation of the domiciliary care service.

    You will lead from the front, ensuring clients receive exceptional, person-centred care while creating a positive, professional environment where staff can thrive.

    You will be responsible for:

    Leadership & Service Management

    Lead the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
    Lead, motivate, develop, and support the office and care teams.
    Create a positive, accountable, and supportive working culture.
    Ensure excellent communication across the service.
    Set clear expectations and lead the team towards high standards of performance and care.

    CQC & Regulatory Compliance

    Maintain full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, legislation, and company policies.
    Ensure all registration and regulatory requirements are maintained.
    Lead the service through CQC inspections and regulatory reviews.
    Develop and implement action plans where required.
    Ensure policies, procedures, records, and systems remain current and effective.

    Quality & Continuous Improvement

    Take ownership of the quality of care delivered across the service.
    Complete and oversee audits, spot checks, quality assurance visits, and client reviews.
    Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
    Investigate complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns thoroughly and professionally.
    Drive a culture of continuous improvement and strive for outstanding outcomes.

    Client Care

    Ensure clients receive comprehensive assessments and high-quality, person-centred care plans.
    Ensure care is delivered with dignity, respect, compassion, choice, and independence at its heart.
    Monitor client satisfaction and act quickly on feedback or concerns.
    Build strong relationships with clients, families, and professionals involved in their care.

    Recruitment & People Management

    Recruit, interview, and select high-quality care professionals.
    Oversee staff induction, training, supervision, competency assessments, and appraisals.
    Maintain high standards of staff performance and conduct.
    Manage absence, disciplinary, and grievance processes appropriately.
    Ensure mandatory training and competencies remain fully up to date.
