TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming community school based in Tonypandy. The school provides a supportive environment for its pupils and has a fantastic ethos throughout, ensuring children feel encouraged and supported in their learning.
The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis, working every Friday within a Key Stage 1 / KS1 class. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for part-time hours, with responsibilities including delivering targeted interventions and group work alongside general classroom support.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1 / KS1 is desirable
• Confidence delivering interventions and small group activities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and supportive approach to children's learning
• Adaptability and a willingness to support across the classroom
