Teach Now is recruiting a caring and capable KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils at a primary school in Enfield.
You will play an active part in everyday classroom learning, helping children develop their early literacy, numeracy and communication skills while providing additional support to pupils who need it.
The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships quickly and bring energy and consistency to the classroom.
Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across KS1.
Deliver reading, phonics and numeracy activities.
Work with individuals and small groups.
Support pupils with different learning needs.
Encourage good behaviour and positive learning habits.
Assist the class teacher with classroom preparation and routines.
We are looking for
Previous primary or KS1 classroom experience.
A Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable.
Phonics knowledge or intervention experience is beneficial.
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
A reliable and patient approach.
