Ace Academics are recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a supportive alternative provision setting in Hammersmith, West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business specialist who enjoys working with smaller groups of students and delivering engaging, personalised lessons. The setting provides a supportive and structured environment, allowing teachers to build strong relationships with students and make a genuine impact on their progress.

The successful candidate will primarily teach Business Studies across BTEC, GCSE and CTEC, with a small amount of basic ICT teaching where required.

The Role:

Teaching BTEC, GCSE and CTEC Business Studies

*

Planning and delivering engaging Business lessons tailored to student needs

*

Assessing and monitoring progress to support positive outcomes

*

Helping students develop practical business knowledge and commercial awareness

*

Supporting students to re-engage positively with education

*

Working closely with teaching, pastoral and support staff

*

Some basic-level ICT teaching where required

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Strong knowledge and experience of Business Studies

*

Experience teaching BTEC, GCSE and/or CTEC Business

*

QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification desirable

*

ECTs with suitable Business Studies experience considered

*

Unqualified teachers or lecturers with strong secondary, FE or alternative provision experience also considered

*

Able to build positive relationships and adapt teaching to different learning needs

*

Confident delivering some basic ICT where required
