Your new role
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships whilst delivering a broad range of accountancy and advisory services. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a business that truly values flexibility, professional development and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
Completion of VAT returns and corporation tax computations.
Preparation of self-assessment and partnership tax returns.
Supporting bookkeeping activities and reviewing financial records.
Ensuring Companies House and HMRC filing deadlines are met.
Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients.
Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and providing proactive support.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
Working closely with senior management to deliver exceptional client service.
What you'll need to succeed
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
ACA, ACCA or AAT qualification, part-qualification, or be qualified by experience.
Experience preparing year-end accounts and tax returns.
Strong knowledge of VAT and corporation tax compliance.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar cloud-based systems.
A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
