Assembly Operative - Lates

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives for the late shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Assembly Operative Benefits:

Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 4pm to midnight & Friday 3pm to 10pm
Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
Start date: Monday 7th September 2026 - no holidays approved in the first 12 weeks due to training
Interviews to be on held on Thursday 3rd September
Rate of pay: £16.31 per hour - rate includes an attendance bonus
Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance and attendance
Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Assembly Operative Duties:

Assembling cabinets
Working on assembly / production lines
Quality checking of materials and finished products
Packing and taping items
Working with wood
Following instructions
General Housekeeping
Working on your own and as part of a team
Minimum daily requirements (production targets)Assembly Operatives Criteria:

Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
Hard working, reliable and punctual
Experience of operating and using hand tools
Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
