How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

It’s an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused marketer who enjoys working at pace and wants to see the direct commercial impact of their work.

    Key Responsibilities
Update and improve website content, including product information, images, pricing and categories.
Support product launches and online merchandising activity.
Build and send engaging, accurate email marketing campaigns.
Produce and publish informative digital content.
Proofread marketing materials to ensure consistently high standards.
Manage marketing requests and tickets efficiently using workflow systems such as JIRA.
Support the production of printed marketing materials.
Monitor website, campaign and advertising performance.
Conduct competitor and market research, sharing insights with Trading Managers.
Maintain accurate product, website and customer information across internal systems.
Support monthly reporting, KPI analysis and evaluation of marketing activity.
Assist with new website builds, marketplaces, resellers and other commercial opportunities.
Recommend improvements to internal marketing processes and ways of working. About You
Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce or online trading position.
A marketing degree, CIM qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Experience updating website content through a CMS.
An understanding of email marketing campaigns and digital content.
Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills.
Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple deadlines.
Commercially minded, with the confidence to suggest improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Able to gather, interpret and present marketing-performance data. Experience with ecommerce platforms, ERP systems, JIRA, Power BI, Business Objects or website search tools such as Algolia would be beneficial but is not essential
