Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder looking for a new opportunity with a well-established and growing logistics business?
We're looking for a confident and detail-focused Freight Operator to join a friendly team at London Gateway, managing deep sea import and export operations from booking through to invoicing and completion.

The role
You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day management of import and export shipments, working closely with customers, suppliers, shipping lines and internal teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing bookings accurately and efficiently
Managing import and export operations
Invoicing and operational file completion
Resolving supplier and invoice queries
Liaising with customers and suppliers by phone and email
Maintaining accurate operational records
Supporting colleagues and providing holiday cover
Working towards CargoWise One certification
About you
We're looking for someone with previous freight forwarding experience and a good understanding of forwarding procedures.
You'll need:
Experience in freight forwarding, ideally deep sea
Good knowledge of import and/or export procedures
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
Confident communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude
The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive teamCargoWise One experience is desirable but not essential.
