Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly primary school in Nelson, Lancashire, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you'll take responsibility for planning and delivering an exciting KS2 curriculum, while nurturing pupils' confidence, independence and love of learning.

We're looking for a teacher who:

Has experience teaching Year 4 or within Key Stage 2
Plans and delivers engaging, creative and purposeful lessons
Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Sets high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement
Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Creates a calm, positive and engaging classroom environment
Works collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children
