Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join a highly regarded team where you will work on a wide range of complex and high-value projects, advising clients throughout the lifecycle of major development and construction schemes.Your work will include drafting and negotiating construction and development documentation, advising on procurement and project delivery structures, managing project risk and supporting clients on strategic development initiatives. You will work closely with clients across a range of sectors, providing commercially focused advice on both standalone construction matters and wider development projects.You will play an important role in managing client relationships, leading transactions and collaborating with colleagues across the firm's real estate, planning and infrastructure teams. The role offers significant responsibility, excellent client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with strong experience in projects, development and non-contentious construction matters gained within a recognised construction or real estate practice.You will have experience drafting and negotiating a variety of construction and development agreements and be comfortable advising clients on complex legal and commercial issues. Strong technical skills, commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving will be essential.You will be capable of managing your own matters, maintaining strong client relationships and working effectively as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills are required, together with a genuine interest in developing your practice and contributing to wider business development initiatives.
