How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new role
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pensions Solicitor to join a highly regarded team in a Senior Associate or Managing Associate capacity. Working closely with market-leading practitioners, you will advise on a broad range of complex pensions matters for both trustee and employer clients.Your work will include providing strategic advice on scheme governance, benefit changes, liability management exercises, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance and pensions disputes. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, leading on matters, supervising junior lawyers where appropriate, and supporting wider business development initiatives.The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work on high-quality, intellectually stimulating matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
    What you'll need to succeed
    You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with strong pensions experience gained within a recognised pensions practice. You will possess excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of pensions matters and be confident delivering commercially focused advice to clients.You will have strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to manage complex matters independently and prioritise competing demands effectively. Experience supervising junior team members, developing client relationships and contributing to business development activities would be advantageous.You will be proactive, commercially aware and collaborative in your approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service and contributing positively to team growth and success.
