How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Studied Psychology or a similar degree because you wanted a career supporting people… but somehow ended up in sales?

This role could bring the two together.

We’re recruiting for a mental health charity supporting people with mental health needs back into employment.

Multiple permanent vacancies across Greenwich, Woolwich, Bromley and Beckenham.

It’s one day working from home, with four days working across community and office settings.

You’ll manage a caseload of around 20–25 people, helping them build confidence, identify career goals, prepare CVs and applications, get ready for interviews and ultimately move into sustainable employment.

Your degree gives you an understanding of people. Your sales experience gives you another really important skill – the confidence to approach employers and open doors.

You’ll proactively engage with local businesses, build relationships and identify employment opportunities for the people you support. There are no KPIs around calls or dials, although you will be expected to have regular conversations and meetings with employers each week.

You’ll also work alongside Community Mental Health Teams and healthcare professionals, giving you the opportunity to build a career within the mental health, charity and healthcare space.

There are targets around employment outcomes, alongside compliance and administration, so your experience of working in a results-focused environment will be valuable too.

We’re particularly interested in Psychology graduates, but we'd also welcome people with similar degrees such as Sociology, Criminology, Counselling, Social Sciences or Health-related subjects who have since gained experience in sales, recruitment, fundraising, business development or another target-driven environment.

If you originally studied because you wanted to work with and support people, but your career took you into sales, this could be an opportunity to bring both sides of your experience together.

Please apply via this advert. We aim to respond to every application.

PLEASE NOTE: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a supporting statement against the person specification (maximum 1.5 pages). We can provide guidance on this
