Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering and machinery manufacturing business based in Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Press Brake Operator, CNC Press Brake Operator or Machine Operator with a background in metalwork, fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and programming machinery to produce components accurately to specification. You will work with a range of manufacturing equipment including press brakes, saws and laser machinery, ensuring finished components meet the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate press brake machinery
Take accurate measurements and mark materials ready for cutting, forming and shaping
Plan the correct sequence of operations required to complete each job
Select the appropriate machinery, tooling and processes
Load and position materials correctly
Set and programme batch sizes and machine speeds
Monitor machinery throughout the manufacturing process and make adjustments when required
Inspect finished components against specifications and identify any defects
Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components are produced accurately
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation
Work safely and in accordance with company procedures
Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and housekeeping
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating Press Brake machinery
Experience setting and/or programming Press Brake machinery would be highly advantageous
Experience operating manual, semi-automatic or automated manufacturing machinery
Background within sheet metal, fabrication, engineering or manufacturing
Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and technical manuals
Confident using precision measuring equipment
Good understanding of metals and material properties
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong manual dexterity
Good mathematical and analytical skills
Understanding of workshop health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team

£17.00 - £18.00 per hour
