Hays Education are recruiting KS1 Teachers to work with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Coventry.
Schools are looking for flexible and reliable teachers who can step into Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms on either a short-term or long-term basis. Whether you're looking for regular supply work or a longer-term opportunity, we have roles available to suit your requirements.
Your new role
Deliver engaging lessons across Year 1 and Year 2
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Follow school planning and policies where required
Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy
Effective classroom management skills
A flexible and professional approach
