About the Role
Teach Now is seeking an ambitious KS2 Teacher for a forward-thinking primary school in Brent.
The school has high expectations for academic progress while recognising the importance of creativity, confidence and wider personal development. You will take responsibility for a KS2 class and work within a collaborative phase team with access to experienced teaching assistants and shared curriculum resources.
This position would suit a teacher who enjoys challenging pupils academically while ensuring lessons remain engaging and inclusive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons.
Develop pupils’ writing, reading comprehension and mathematical reasoning.
Use assessment to identify gaps and provide appropriate challenge.
Prepare pupils for the increasing academic demands of upper KS2.
Provide effective support for SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
Establish high standards of behaviour and independence.
Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities.
Requirements
QTS.
Successful experience teaching within KS2.
Strong knowledge of the primary National Curriculum.
Confident assessment and differentiation skills.
Excellent behaviour management.
High expectations for pupil achievement.
